Quite Possibly the Best Lunch in Town!

They laughed at the puzzled look on my face when they told me about the scrumptious lunch we should try at a nearby gas station.   I guess I was picturing on of those revolving hotdog roasters under glass casing, or a bin of mass-made tuna sandwiches.  Well, Bob and I will both tell you that when you come to visit, that's where we'll take you for lunch!  It will be pure delight for us to watch your face light up once you take your first bite of a gourmet sandwich from The Market at Bellaire.

These sandwiches are so good that people patiently wait in line to choose their favorite. The foods are wholesome and fresh, and you can have your fresh sandwich custom designed for you.  The choices on the menu are aptly named after area locations: the Monticello, the Montpelier, the Jefferson (Bob's favorite), and the Crozet (my favorite)... on any of the dozen fresh breads (we both love sunflower-wheat) and with any of the dozens of ingredients, from fresh roasted turkey to cranberry relish. There's a large assortment of prepared deli salads and treats, veggies and wraps, and fresh fruit.  The market is within walking distance, which is a good thing...  that little bit of exercise will be necessary!
